Artist Statement -

I offer you my unique perspective of the world around us, highlighting the beauty that exists in nature. Photography is a true passion for me. Nature and floral photography is my way of capturing the world's tremendous beauty and sharing it with others. It is my wish for my images to inspire awe in the viewer of the beauty and unique attributes of nature.

I love how photography takes an instant out of time and preserves it forever. It is my desire to capture the split second of something amazing, before it is lost forever. This is the true purpose of photography.

Through my infrared photography, I capture a secret world, where the unseen becomes visible and the ordinary becomes extraordinary. My infrared and abstract photography is surreal and otherworldly. I use lines, colors, and shapes to create an impactful image that is full of powerful emotions. My goal is to evoke a sense of wonder, enchantment, and mystery in my infrared and abstract photography.

I am also inspired by the color, creativity, and renewal of springtime. I like to capture the brilliant light of the sun to make my images burst with enegry.

For over 20 years Maryann and Frank Caravaglia have worked together to create beautiful photographs you will treasure for a lifetime. Our artwork is available as a traditional print in a wooden or handsculpted ceramic frame, a canvas print, a metal print, or a vibrant acrylic print.

When Frank starting creating unique hand crafted ceramic frames that were visually striking, we decided to add mainly my floral photographs to the frames. We would match up my pictures to the frames. Now Frank starts out by taking one of my photographs and creates a frame specifically for that photograph. The results are amazing.
